We again, yesterday looked at our pictures from Positano and our walk with you. So Beautiful!
It was so neat running into your mother and having a brief chat. It reminded us as you noted it is a town not just a tourist destination, and what a stunning and interesting town.
We hope we are fortunate to visit Positano again and explore the area with your tour.

Wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for a number of things. First-the walk with your mother was fabulous. We really enjoyed our time with her. And dinner at Il Ritrovo was both memorable and delicious. Tonight we had dinner at Da Lorenzo in Scala, per your recommendation. We loved everything about it. Probably the best fresh fish and the ambiance was fabulous. Thank you for everything. And if you or your mom are in Southern California, please look us up.

"Gabriella Russo, Walk Positano"
Gabriella was easy to communicate with from the very beginning—kind, warm, quick to respond. And this was a necessity—little did we know how much we would need her help before we even met her in person. When our taxi driver got hopelessly lost and we ended up a full hour late for our hike, she spoke with our driver on the phone, gave us perfect directions with landmarks so we could make sure he got us there, and waited patiently for us to arrive. After that rocky start, we enjoyed a fantastic hike!
Sentiero Degli Dei would be beautiful no matter how you hiked it, but going with Gabriella instead of on our own was a better choice, no question. She offered all kinds of information about the plants and landscape features we passed, the history of the area and its people, and the trail itself. She spent a lot of time in Canada growing up, so her English is perfect. And because she has lived in Positano her whole life and has developed relationships with people all along the trail, we got to enjoy special treats like free antipasti and biscotti at a little restaurant we passed! It was also great to have her able and willing to take pictures of us together at various points along the trail. She paced the hike well and was kind to offer a hand at challenging spots if we needed it.
All in all I would not hesitate to recommend a hike with Gabriella! You won’t regret hiring her to help you explore the Amalfi Coast. I’d also suggest you let her help arrange your transportation getting there, as she has lots of local connections and is so willing to offer expertise—we would have been much better off planning a taxi or private driver through her rather than trying to get there on our own!

“The highlight of our trip to Amalfi!”
My husband and I did both Gabriella's Positano Walking Tour and her Path of the Gods hike. Both were amazing. The Positano tour gave us a thorough overview of her hometown while the Path of the Gods hike was incredibly scenic and an outing not to be missed. Our journey to the start of the hike included a quick stop in Amalfi. Gabriella gave us a quick tour of the town before starting an incredibly informative journey through the coastal mountain region. The day of our hike started out rainy and our hotel concierge warned off friends who had planned on undertaking the hike unguided saying it might be risky given the weather conditions. Gabriella was incredibly safety conscious, putting us quickly at ease. She paced the hike to our fitness level and while the trail was quite hilly at times, we never felt overwhelmed. Gabriella arranged a lovely dinner in a very picturesque restaurant for us at the end of our hike. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with her.

Before leaving from the US, I had booked Gabriella's morning walking tour of Positano. It gave us an idea of where to visit. Basically it helped us get our bearings in town. We also decided to do Walk of the Gods with Gabriella. We were hesitant because our suitcases had not arrived. My boyfriend had his Chacco sandals with a thick sole. Gabriella assured us that we would be fine. And we were. We started uphill in Praiana and finished in Nocelle. The path is uneven rocks in spots and Gabriella helped me with my footing when necessary. Beautiful views everywhere. Thoroughly enjoyed hearing Gabriella's stories and experiences. Loved the hike and probably would have skipped it without Gabriella's help.
